Emma Willis confirmed to return as host of The Voice UK
It has today been confirmed that Emma Willis will continue to host The Voice UK when it moves from the BBC to ITV in 2017.
Willis, who has hosted The Voice UK since 2014, revealed that was she was “absolutely delighted” to be returning to the show as it is very close to her heart.

However, as it stands, she will be presenting alone as co-host Marvin Humes will not be returning.
Humes, who has also been a presenter on the show since 2014, said in a statement: “I’ve loved every minute of working on the Voice for the past 3 series and will miss working with Emma and the team. It’s one of the best shows on TV and I’ll definitely be tuning in to see the new series. I wish the new team the best of luck and look forward to working more with ITV in the near future.”
ITV has confirmed his departure, stating: “Marvin won’t be appearing on next year’s series, but remains very much a part of the ITV family, and we look forward to working with him on other projects in the near future.”
ITV has yet to reveal who the celebrity coaches will be, for when the series starts in 2017. The last set of coaches included will.i.am, Paloma Faith, Boy George and Ricky Wilson.
Auditions for the show are due to start next week, and it has been revealed that the winner will win a record contract with Polydor, who are responsible for global artists including Take That, Ellie Goulding, The 1975 and Years and Years.
The Voice UK will make its ITV debut in 2017.
