The original series co-creators, Mike Judge and Greg Daniels have received a formal order from Hulu for a King of the Hill remake. 20th Television Animation will produce the upcoming King of the Hill revival for Hulu, while Saladin Patterson will serve as the showrunner and executive producer. Judge and Daniels will serve as executive producers along with Michael Rotenberg, Howard Klein, and Dustin Davis.

King of the Hill: Resurrected was one of many series in development when Judge and Daniels announced the founding of a new business named Bandera Entertainment on January 18, 2022.
