Quando Rondo Wrecks Car, Prosecutors Want Him Back Behind Bars

Quando Rondo has crashed his car — and the accident has prompted Georgia prosecutors to demand for his bond to be revoked.

According to The Associated Press (via MSN), the rapper (real name Tyquian Terrel Bowman) crashed his car on Wednesday (July 19) in Chatham County, Georgia. When the first responders got to the scene, they found Quando “exhibiting signs of an overdose,” prompting them to administer Narcan to save his life.

As part of his previously-issued bond terms, however, Quando Rondo was ordered to refrain from using illicit drugs — and having an overdose indicates that he violated those terms.

While the rapper’s attorney, Jonah Pine, did not have a comment about his client’s latest woes, prosecutors in Chatham County are looking into filing additional charges against the “Want Me Dead” rapper for the crash.

Quando Rondo was originally arrested on June 16 in Macon, GA. The officials told TMZ that the rapper allegedly worked with up to 18 other individuals to engage in drug deals between October 2022 and June 2023.

Rondo was charged with “two counts of conspiracy to violate Georgia’s controlled substances law, one count of participating in criminal activity affiliated with a street gang, and one count of illegal use of a cell phone to facilitate a drug deal.”

Before coming under fire from the long arm of the law, Quando Rondo had come under fire for some of his more colorful opinions.

In a sit-down interview with Dirty Glove Bastard as part of their “Off The Porch” series, the Savannah, Georgia native made it clear that he wasn’t feeling Lil Durk. “We blessed, we angels,” he began. “But, on God … I ain’t tryna die for Durk. I’m not! I’ma keep it real!”

Rondo had a different opinion about Lul Tim, the man allegedly responsible for the murder of Durk’s close friend and collaborator, King Von.

“I’d die for this man, though,” he said, pointing to Lul Tim who was sat next to him. “N-gga, if I knew, I’d lay down my life and die for this man. Slit throat. Right now, on God. Because I know — I know — he’d do the same for me. Shit, he almost did. I take that shit to heart.”

This isn’t the first time that Quando Rondo has sung the praises of Lul Tim. Back in 2021, Quando took to his Instagram stories to share a picture of matching iced-out watches that he got for himself and his longtime friend. “Me and My Twin,” he wrote in the caption.

Quando’s seeming indifference to the death of King Von may stem from their longtime beef that wasn’t resolved at the time of Von’s murder.

And the feud between Quando and Von has continued, even after the Chicago rapper’s death. During a virtual concert in April of that same year, Quando allegedly delivered yet another shot disrespecting Von, rapping: “He got caught without that pole and now that bitch ass n-gga gone … I’ll piss on his grave!”
